Der LERMOOSER is a small hotel with a modern concept in the historic railroad station building of the small village of Lermoos in Tyrol. At the foot of the Zugspitze, we offer sustainable and individual Alpine tourism for mountaineers, hikers, bikers, skiers, nose-pickers and those who want to get away from it all, for friends and families. Without frills, but with great attention to detail.

"For Unverzart, climbing the mountain and the physical exertion that comes with it is an important part of his work, as it gives him a physical sense of himself and his subject. With his spirit of discovery, Unverzart moves in the tradition of alpine photography. Which, founded in the mid-19th century far from mass tourism, initially for the purpose of research and military development, was for a long time a privilege of suitably materially wealthy individuals."

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Lermooser, run by two unimaginably friendly people, so much that we can't imagine ever booking another hotel in Austria. Everything was perfect here. The service, hospitality and helpfulness far exceeded our expectations. The rooms, which are furnished with so much attention to detail, leave nothing to be desired. It was extremely clean and very very quiet. In the rooms, with closed windows, nothing can be heard from the outside world. We will definitely come again. Thank you very much.

Modern hotel concept with the right mix of not too much and not too little, with a sense for details in architecture+design. A house where guests feel welcome ! Relaxed and familiar atmosphere, with small café/ kiosk instead of reception with delicious cakes and good breakfast. Careful handling of the listed substance, which makes the hotel unique. Quiet location on the outskirts and yet with very good public transport connection ;-) - dear Johann, I will be happy to come again !

We stayed as a family at the Lermooser and had a really good time. The former and trainstation has a great interior design. We had a bright and spacious room from which you could look far into the valley. The kitchen and the common room is so pleasant that it can be late with a bottle of wine. We will come again.

A wonderful, small hotel, converted from an old train station with a very special flair. A very coherent and well thought-out concept, here everything just fits together! Here you can decelerate and feel comfortable in the very tastefully and comfortably furnished rooms and common areas and on the terrace. With the very nice hosts, you can feel that they place a lot of value on the well-being of their guests. We were really excited about the Lermooser and come back very, very gladly.

How to get to Lermoos

The best way to get to us is - surprise - by train. Book your ticket to Lermoos, get off in Lermoos and relax. 2 hours from Munich, 30 minutes from Garmisch.
The Aussernfern train runs every hour and travels quietly and environmentally friendly directly to us. You can also travel to Lermoos with the Deutschlandticket.- Innsbruck-Garmisch-Lermoos
